Against this backdrop, we seek to hire an outstanding local:Operations Officer for Papua
General Requirements:
- Master Degree (S2) in sociology, political science, economics, anthropology, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 7 years relevant work experience in Indonesia, preferably with project management experience
- Previous work experience in Papua/West Papua highly desirable;
- Knowledge of/experience with World Bank policies, procedures, and operational activities desirable;
- Strong organizational capacity and demonstrated leadership skills, proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams;
- Ability to build and maintain effective client relationships, internally and externally;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills including demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and tactfully to a variety of audiences;
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
- Willingness to travel frequently to rural and extremely remote areas of Papua.
